Tortosa is a renaissance city with its old buildings and a Cathedral also recently discovered Roman ruins. This city stands on a river overlooked by the mountains. There is a charming museum that was once a slaughter house . It is charming steeped in history and worth visiting.

Xavi is great. He speaks no English (yet) but still went to great lengths to help us out. He is very passionate about the museum. The museum itself is very interesting, especially with the audio guide.
We visited the permanent section. Awesome insight on the history of the city and the region. The guy at the reception was very friendly and helpful
