We've had our first lunch here today and was actually really nice. At first when I looked on Google to find it because I knew about it but never tried it I saw bad score from reviews and I was quite unsure if I still want to go or not because I wanted something nice to treat myself and hubby today. Well I don't regret. The place was really nice, spotless clean, new, the food was really good and good sized portions. We had mixed grill platter and mussels in wine sauce which were amazing. As a starter we had keftidis I think was called, really nice too. The staff was really nice and helpful and we've been asked if we need anything else couple of times and if we like the food. Very friendly and good recommended food (we asked what shall we get). Thank you and we will be back with children too.

Well Well well, I had being meaning to come to big fat Greek as soon as i arrived in Clacton on Sea, fantastic service, fantastic food and it was refreshing to have authentic Greek food yummmmm recommend the Zeus burgers. The owner was a very accommodating gentlemen who even discounted our bill and didn't make song a dance about it! Great experience
SO 4 stars sounds good but here's why. Food was great for the price and quality! Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend you give it a go! Prices did seem equally reasonable. However Service was not great, Barely a smile on there faces and Seemed rather snappy with questions (and this wasn't just 1 person, this was 4). Also the pepsi tasted Very cheap, likely not pepsi at all. However! It was Very nicely decorated with a lovely little water feature.
Popped in to try some cocktails. Decor inside is very nicely furnished, the staff were lovely, professional and polite and my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere while trying some of the range of cocktails. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back.
Very nice place to eat with interesting surrounding. Clean, spacious, good service and good food.
