MyFlight Zone, a Sri Lankan owned and operated travel agent I met in Australia. What comes to my mind first is their marketing strategy and how they see each and everyone as a potential customer. They engage with all equally, as they have understood very well the concept of “You never know!”. Although, a Sri Lankan crowd works with them, neither their marketing campaigns, nor their service is biased. I have seen very cool promotional campaigns, although mostly targeted towards the Sri Lankan community (for now), uses any available airline. They have equally promoted Sri Lankan Airlines, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, and Malaysian Airlines. Their customer service truly adopts the “Sri Lankan Hospitable Culture” that I used to know. Mereen in Mt Waverley Office, and Iromi in the Sri Lankan office are names that I must mention. They went above and beyond their call of duty, to provide me with the best possible outcomes and information. Please keep up the good work. Travel agents like you are hard to find these days. Although I haven’t chosen you for my return flight to Melbourn due to financial circumstances, I would not hesitate to come back to you or to recommend you to another. The only improvement I can think of is, how you can also look into the potential non-sinhala speaking community, both Sri Lankan or otherwise, that may wish to travel. A true Sri Lankan would support at least 3 languages, Sinhala, English, and Tamil. A true Sri Lankan living in Australia, would also support the additional language “Australian-English”.
