I go here at least twice a week. I always order the 특설렁탕 because of the cartilage and ligament they add, similar to 도가니탕. And if you add the vinegar soy sauce with onions right into the soup, it becomes even better. Because of this, I don't add salt though. Also, the 배추김치 is especially outstanding. 명가원 is my favorite restaurant in Ilsan ... and in my opinion one of the best soup restaurants in the country.

If you looking for a good local restaurant this is the place. Especially if you want Korean good soup. One of the best is Galbitang soup, the beef short reeb soup. Local guy took me there and it was amaizing.

I found a long piece of hair in my seolleongtang. I complained it but the server did not care. I was told by her it could have been yours. Business is going well but please take care of the food sanitaion.

When I think of this restaurant, 'traditional taste' comes to mind at first. One of the oldest, most delicious Seollungtangjip in Goyang.
