I wanted an ashy blonde and I got yellow/orange hair! On top of that the haircut I showed the girl was for a medium length cut and she completely cut my hair above my shoulders. Not sure if she’s inexperienced or new to hair...but I’ve NEVER had an experience like this before. Now I have to take time out of my week this week to get my hair color corrected at a different salon. Not happy with the quality and won’t be back or recommending to my local friends here in Basehor. I also wanted to add, that my scalp was insanely itchy upon getting home! Even after I shampooed it was itchy. Too much bleach or dye? Not sure. I didn’t make a big deal leaving the salon because there were other customers inside and I felt that I could handle this via an honest review.

My old hairstylist left here and I thought I would give it one more try with someone new because it's super close to my house well It was a horrible decision. I went in for a trim and color. I was going to go for a blueish color well the girl was so new she had to ask questions about everything even how to to the bleach . They couldn't get my hair to lift correctly it looked so bad half orange and half yellow and it looked to me like it was patchy they used multiple things to try and fix it well one thing they used was so bad it burned everyones eyes and hurt to breathe it in. They were so rough on my head that my scalp hurts and I can't touch it or do anything with it. It feels like they bruised my scalp pretty bad. They told me I could still go blue but it wouldn't be the shade I wanted ( would of probably ended up greenish so I decided to go brown to cover up how bad it was. I was there for almost 5 hours.They still had me pay 145. I wish I had refused to pay. Definitely do not recommend. I would give it a 0 star if I could.

Went for a highlight service color. My hair was burned, still after 7 months Im unable to color due to damage. Poor service

Good atmosphere, nice people. The experience was great for never having been to a salon before..... Until I got home and found a chunk of hair cut in the middle of my head. Not sure what my stylist was thinking... Maybe she wanted to give me bangs for the side of my head lol

The place is cozy and has freindly staff but, if you have short hair you may want to try it to see if it suits your tastes.
