Visited this place many times in the past. It was always crowded. Covid reduced footfall and also the menu. Good parking place and coffee was tasty as before. Hope they will be back to the past glory

Kamat has many branches in many cities and known for its taste. It is veg restaurant where it serves yummy breakfast and meals. I went to Kamat Madhavana located in Ooty road, Mysore. Both taste and service was good but didn’t cleaniness was not up to the mark. Food was too healthy and I liked it very much Quality 4/5: We went for green leaf full meals and they served 3-4 curries, papad, salads, butter milk, curd and jowar roti. Food taste was good but they lack in cleanliness. Service 5/5: Waiters keep serving food as it was full meals. Each waiter serve one particular item. Parking 4/5: Kamat Madhuvan has dedicated parking area for both 2-4 wheelers but no shelter for them. Cost 3/5: I felt it is too costly for normal meals and it is 180/meal. Note: People travelling from Mysore-ooty/nanjangud can visit and try the restaurant.

We visited this place on March 22 2021 to have a breakfast. Place is decent and rest rooms were clean. To my surprise there were flies all around and that was bit disappointing. Food was good but because of flies made it difficult. Ample parking space. I hope management take steps to get rid of flies .
The place has lost its legacy. Before the place used to be full and there was great service. Now the staff lack interest the food doesn't taste great. The manager lacks interest. I think Kamat Group has to look into the issues and get it sorted asap.
Decent place. Offers unlimited meals at 180 rupees which is very reasonable considering the price n items they serve. Try full meals if you go here.
Authentic South Indian restaurant with a calm eco-friendly Atmosphere , even while being on a busy highway. Good to visit with family for a sumptuous lunch or south indian breakfast. Loved the ambience
