I have done a beautiful review to my beloved Malaga. But this, this, I must set aside. It is incomprehensible that still today, this building holds such a barbaric act of cruelty to innocent, helpless animals. I don't care if there are nice things inside, I will not step a foot in that place until I know for sure it is going to become a Coliseum. A symbol of what we did in the past, and a symbol of how much we evolved to understand we had to stop it.
Didn't visit for a bullfight but for an orchestral concert. Good venue for this.
Nice place, interesting and with history in bullfighting. I do not like this sport in particulary but I kind of regret the fact that I could not assist to a corrida when I visited Malaga, just for the idea of seeing such a thing live. At least I got the permission to get in the arena and hold a matador cape. And look at how some young bullfighters were training.
There are construction works running, they just should use the bull fighting arena for other events not for bullfighting anymore as this is one of the worst traditions in southern spain. Besides that the building is worth do be renovated and should be hold as a cultural building about history etc. As Malaga offers a lot of history, this must be conservated for the future as well.
