This wonderful christmas market is on Odeonsplatz. The food, songs, hot wine, sausages everything was topclass. Really enjoyed the time we spent. There was a music band banging the crowd, was a nice experince. Talking animals were acting the classical child stories. Its magical in christmas!

One of the best Christmas markets in Munich, next to Tollwood. This place is authentic and lively. Find hand made Medieval crafts and Christmas gifts. Drink from old cast goblets and warm yourself under authentic oil burning torches. This is a must when visiting Munich for the Christmas season. It get crowded, and I mean PACKED, so arrive early to claim a spot or check it out before heading off into the night.

Not a lot of stands but very cute. The food we got was really good and very filling. There’s live music but we didn’t know what time it started so we only caught the sound check, and there’s people dressed up from the mid-evil times all over the place. The crepes/waffle stand is definitely something to visit, there was even a nice guy who spoke English working there which made ordering much easier.

We went here our first night in Munich and had a great time, the performances were fun to watch, the food was delicious, it was bit crowded but that made sense after we saw how fun it was! Going at night gives you the best views.

This particular Christmas Market definitely stands out among the other markets in Munich. The stalls offer a variety of themed hand-crafted items. The smoked salmon definitely worth a try! It was very soft and juicy, being baked in the birch wood barrel. The Flammkuchen was also good, crispy and hot from the oven. Hurry up, the vegetarian ones do sell out very quickly!
