We went after the lavender had been harvested so we didn’t really get to see the beautiful purple rows of lavender. That would be magical. Nonetheless there was still plenty to see. They have the old barn which shows the drying process and extracting of oils so this was informative. Walking around the field is really nice too and refreshing. The ice cream is a must! Lavender ice cream is a new favourite for me! Didn’t disappoint even on a relatively cooler than usual morning. Shop has beautiful little gifts you can buy but you only really need to go for the ice cream.

It’s a must visit place when visiting Launceston. The drive is so scenic. It’s not possible to comprehend the beauty of the place the estate. Although we went after the harvest it was still a magnificent site. You could smell the lavender in the air. The beautiful dam and big beautiful oak trees made it even more impressive. The store is amazing too and very helpful staff. There is a small cafe with big, bold flavours and the freshest food. The vegetable lasagna was the best we ever had. The lavender scones a tea are not to be missed and the delicious lavender ice cream was the cherry on top. Will definitely visit again.
Came in end January and I guess I was a bit late but the overall experience was still pretty great, the farm is well maintained and the smell of lavenders are pretty refreshing! They sell coffee, lavender ice creams and some souvenirs here! 20 dollar entrance for non residence and it's a good place to chill.
Lavender farm , was a beautiful experience. The beautiful smell of lavender and the whole place filled with lavender and the ice cream it just makes the perfect day. Its was a whole new experience for me to be in this beautiful place. Would definitely love to go back again . If you want you can bring your own food and do little picnic near the tree or you can check their restaurant there. There is variety of lavender products in the gift shop as well from lavender oil to lavender candle , shop anything. Cute souvenir to take home back. If you are in Tasmania then its the must visit. Many wine estate on the way so , you can try that as well . Many farms on the way , beautiful scenery. If you are resident of Tasmania then entry is fee once the ID is shown otherwise the entry fee is 20 which includes tours of whole lavender Farm.
We were here when no lavender was blooming and it was still a brilliant place to visit. The 100yrar old oak trees, the distillery - of lavender oil, the dam area, the walks amongst the growing plants, the flora and fauna is all just beautiful. The cafe and shop are just divine. The staff were friendly and chatty. The scones and accompanying lavender items we had were delicious. Wheelchair friendly, child friendly and I think even pet friendly - on leads. Go before the crowds show up. Wonderful.
Amazing place to visit. The smell from the fields is unbelievable! Friendly staff and great food available at the Cafe/gift shop. The Blueberry and Lavender Jam is a must!
This place is absolutely beautiful. The lavender is amazing and has been taken care of so well. The iconic purple bears you see at every souvenir shop in Tasmania are officially sold here. You MUST try out the lavender ice cream, a very unique flavour with amazing taste. Definitely one of the best locations you can visit as both a local and a tourist. Highly recommend, I loved it here.
Lovely place to.look at but the prices in the shop was over the top, we have found this a lot in Tassie. Going for big profits instead of big sales, which leaves you with a memory of a nice place that's over the top with there merchandise.
