This was an hour well spent for us and our daughter. She enjoyed seeing how glass is made. The souvenir shop is nice too and we ended it with a lovely scoop of Blue Seal ice cream.

Great spot for a look at how Ryuku glass is made. The staff were absolutely wonderful they were very friendly and helpful especially with our limited Japanese, English help sheets are available. Reasonably priced too. 1600yen for a basic glass tumbler that you help create

about 2400 yen to have the experience of blowing your own custom glass. need to wait for another 2 days for the glass masters to add the finishing touches. can choose to have the glass mailed over to you.

Very unique place to go visit when you are in Okinawa and also having the ability to make your own glass makes it that much more enjoyable. The guys that were doing the glass blowing and showing you what to do I would say we're friendly, they weren't rude, considering they probably see tourists all day. After doing that you are able to go into the glass factory gift shop where you can buy almost anything you can think of made out of glass. Lots of unique things in the shop, especially the glass flowers and vase that you can buy. Also something unique they have there is a almost beer pong setup where you try to throw a ping pong ball into one of the glass cups and if you make it then you get to keep that glass, it does cost yen though to do it. I did not take the opportunity to try it since I had found it at the very end of the tour for that place.

Went there today on a tour and blew glass for the first time. We also made candles and photo frames. Fun place!
