My wife and I made a quick stop here and purchased some spam onigirazu. It was delicious as expected. There was a restaurant that served other dishes, a small fresh food section, and a small store with local tourist items. There was outdoor seating available for eating. The view was beautiful.

Alot of local traffic. Great soba! Plants at great prices.

A roadside station located further north of Henoko. The scenery would be nice if it was sunny. I didn't use it or there were many meal menus in the restaurant.

Good place to take a break. You can eat, buy local fresh vegetables/plants etc and experience kayaking. Remember, restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Still you can buy something to eat such as rice balls, boiled eggs, small size noodles, ice cream, cookies and so on.

Very beautiful and quiet place. Not so many tourists.

Nice walk through a mangrove forest. Not currently a loop, but it looks like they are working in that direction. Market at the parking lot is nice.

The little plaza is great, with small shops with reasonably priced souvenirs/a small farmers market/some snack and foodstuffs, but the real awesome part about this place (besides the amazing view of Oura Bay across the street) is the nearby park! If you park next to the plaza and walk in front of the plaza and across the street (staying on the same side of the highway…don't cross towards the bay) you'll end up on a sidewalk that curves around towards an incredible elevated boardwalk/nature park! As you walk the boardwalk you'll see all kinds of natural beauty from birds to carp, a beautiful lake with the reflection of the hills in the water, and, just past the pavilion, a tiny (and then larger) mangrove forest! This would be a great place to take kids to teach them about nature or, for anyone, a great place to enjoy the peaceful silence it provides. Loved it and will definitely go back!

Great market, beaches nearby, we went on a short tour with a glass bottom boat which I recommend ! The guide was delightful and informative ( Japanese only though )
