Go to the green sign (yen/card) if you don’t have ETC. Also if you use ETC almost daily, it is cheaper than the green lane. Payment and lack of cars paying in that lane is faster as well.

The highway in Okinawa usually have 3 lanes. The outer 2 lanes on the Left are for car with Auto pay facility & the cars just drive through the pay-toll. Vehicles do not have Auto-pay facility would have to pay cash & must keep to the right lane.collect payment notice(card) from 1st toll & to pay cash to the toll-staff at the next toll. The payment is smooth & easy.The staff Manning the toll are friendly.
I hate to pay toll. Get the ETC to speed up your journey without long queue.
