Its goal is to enhance environmental education, conservation and sustainable development among communities in Kenya using bird-watching as a tool. Birding is the new fad in tourism today. More and more people are taking a very keen interest in the science and art of birds. Kenya as a country has well over 1,000 species of birds (10% of global species, 10 species of which are found in no other country in the world!) making birding a broader area of study than wildlife.
