I went to Lucy’s for a yoga/meditation retreat and it was awesome. Lucy is an incredible host and yoga teacher. She’s caring and adapts yoga practice to what one’s needs. I went home feeling relaxed and happy. Her place is very nice, the studio is SO cozy and her vegetarian cuisine is delightful. The region is lovely for hikes and the fireplace is so comfy for meditation and book readings between 2 yoga sessions. I strongly recommend her yoga retreats and couldn’t be happier of my stay. Thanks again Lucy :-)

Lucy has so much knowledge about yoga! She gives you personal advise how to integrate yoga in your average day in normal life, which makes it more likely to hold up the good ideas and intentions. The surrounding is a nice sur plus for walks. I was stressed when I arrived, but after 4 days really relaxed. All together I enjoyed my stay and made the best new year start ever!
Restorative yoga and mindfulness meditation, delicious food, great forest walks, and a lovely dog and cat to snuggle with, what more do you want? I enjoyed my stay with Lucy and really recommend it to anyone in need of some peace and quiet
I came for Lucy’s summer solstice retreat, and it was perfect for me. Najac is a tiny medieval town where you can truly decompress. I was the only guest and stayed in the lovely and clean gite right behind her house, and she made it clear from the beginning that I should feel comfortable coming and going in the big house and ask for whatever I might need. (Her other two guest spaces are upstairs in her house.) She took me to a local community musical celebration for the Fête de la Musique and to her friend’s potluck dinner/solstice celebration amidst stone ruins by the banks of a local river. The setting was incredible. We drummed, sang, ate delicious homemade food and drank wine. What could be better? We also did a vigorous 3-4 hour walk through the nearby hills. We saw only a few other hikers the entire way. We had a picnic by the river and I had a nice swim before lunch. Lucy has great knowledge of the Alexander technique and her yoga practice and teaching are greatly influenced by this training. I practice in both vigorous vinyasa and yin styles at home, and have become increasingly attracted to yin as I age and learn its benefits. Lucy’s classes were more quiet even than yin as she discourages intense stretching. Less is more at Yoga Najac, and a big takeaway for me was the value of letting to body do its thing rather than pushing it to the edge where I can feel the stretch in the muscle as I tend normally to do, even in my yin practice. I still hear her saying “Do 80%.” This was a big moment of realization in my ongoing yoga journey (I’ve had a regular practice for about 20 years). Lucy’s style is not yin or restorative as I have experienced it on the east coast of the US and in California. I believe she calls it “passive.” If you’ve tried yin and don’t like it because you feel like you are not doing anything or get too antsy holding a pose for 3-5 minutes, you might not think you’d like this passive style, but it might be just the thing you need!
Lucy, je te dis à bientôt, see you soon maybe !! Take care of you and thank you for all the good vibes and the positive energy that you spread to your students.. Namaste :)
