We chose the 5800 medium set of sukiyaki, which was absolutely delicious! Not only do you have your own private room with a gorgeous garden view, but they also cook the food right in front of you in a kimono. A gorgeous, calming atmosphere with delicious food and very few people on a weekday lunch. I would definitely like to come back again. This restaurant has a few locations, and it was started in 1896!

A very good Japanese restaurant specializing in teriyaki and sukiyaki. You will not be disappointed by its beef quality and is value for money at an affordability price. You don;t need to worry on food preparation as their staff will prepare the foods in front of you. Will definitely come again in our next Kyoto visit.
Fantastic place for Sukiyaki. The staff is very friendly and they try to help out even in English. The food is costly but appropriate considered the quality. It is possible to eat traditionally on Tatami in separate compartments. Excellent experience.
I had the best sukiyaki of my life here, the food, the staff, the place, all Impeccable. Amazing experience. Worth the price.
