Fantastic host, relatively close to station; this property is great value for money and sits amongst the old Edo style part of the post town. The old wooden from the Edo style of the building is beautifully integrated with the modern style of building. Only 4 beds in the room, so not too many people for noise. I love that you can smell the faint scent of wood. A cafe, work space and guesthouse with fascinating history all in one. Ask the owner about the history of the store. Lovely lounge area for sitting. Air con. I was lucky and got a lovely 400 Y breakfast! There could be another curtain on the end of the bunk for more privacy (not just on the entrance). Shelves or more storage options in bunk area would be good. as The bed is comfortable but no space to put your stuff, so when you try to charge a device it only goes onto your bed. No safes in the house.

Hostel is in an traditional building but has recently been renovated, and was in pristine condition. Very friendly staff, particularly Yoka, who made us feel really welcome, even sharing some of her food with us. Good base for trekking the Nakasendo way.

Fantastic place! Very nice host and lovely old style wooden house. Good WiFi and a very good breakfast. Beds are ok and private. Lovely living areas with classic Japanese style.. Highly recommend this spot for a nakasendo hike from Nagatsugawa to Nagiso!
JR中津川からさほど遠くない中津川宿にありノスタルジックな感じが少し感じられるステキなゲストハウスです。まだ新しく、テーブルのカフェ空間から居心地のいい居間でくつろげました。ベッドルームと言うより二段ベットの寝床は、少しマットが薄く狭い空間ですが寝るだけならこれで十分。でも壁が薄いので隣や下段が気なる方、自分のイビキが気になる方はおススメじゃないです。ここは、ゲストハウスとして海外の方も宿泊されるのである意味楽しめますが、中々入れない方に共有できるメニューがあれば面白いかも。値段は宿泊だけでしたがオーナー曰く、食事代は他店で使って欲しいとの事、オーナーも気さくにいろいろ話を聞かせてくれました。星５つは自分の好みと今後の期待も込めてです。
古民家の渋い感じも味わいながら、寝床はふかふかの布団で快適に過ごせます。オーナーの方も大変ご対応が丁寧で、木曽に来たら絶対立ち寄って欲しいゲストハウスです。ありがとうございました！
