Accessible and well-kept hot springs. Be sure to walk the trail up to the ruins of the original hot springs.

Stayed two nights in the camp site. The campsite is good but you need to book the river side. We tried to move when we checked in but no luck even thought 5 were empty all weekend. We were told they were booked but no one showed. Hot spring facilities are clean but you feel like you’re in a hot tub or pool. We liked the hiking and the old natural hot springs. Staff were not friendly at all. Worth trying if you’re in the area. No wifi or cell coverage.

Looks like a great little hot spring! 12 km off the highway, on a decent road. Carry chains in the winter, the hills can be quite slippery, some are long, it's a long way to back up slowly. Only open to locals until Covid subsides.

We really enjoyed camping at Nakusp Hot Springs. It was a lot of fun to be able have access to the hot springs on the campground. We did book a spot on the river, but didn’t realize there was quite a large embankment, so you aren’t really ‘on the river’. If you prefer shade, it seems better treed on the river side and if you prefer sun, I’d recommend booking the sites across from the river side, as you get better sun on that side. We stayed in a powered site, though they also have non-powered and tent sites available. There are a couple nice hikes at the campground. One does require a car/ride to be arranged at the other end to get back to the campground as it is a 8.5km one way (you could hike back though). We did come across a black bear on our hike, so be bear aware. The staff were very friendly. I’d recommend this campground.

We stayed in a small two person chalet. It was very clean and comfy but rather bijou, so had to get out for a walk. COVID-19 is causing much distraction to these businesses having to allocate time slots to pool visitors. They are however doing an excellent job under the circumstances! The upside is uncrowded pools and that was a very positive experience.
