Has quite a homely rustic feel in a comfortable mall setting which I enjoyed. Food is pretty standard but definitely good, would recommend adding 1 for more vege as there is an overall increase in ingredients which elevated the dish.

Food was fantastic. Service was appalling. Hygiene in food preparation was equally poor. Cooking and collecting cash at the same time. This staff was preparing my crispy noodle. He cracked an egg into the pot. A customer came along & he took her order. The same hand that was used to crack the egg was also used to collect cash.

Very yummy handmade pau and Siew Mai. The Amy yip pau was huge and only 4 with lots of meat n half egg to compliment. The skin of the pau was soft n not thick. They been around for years...u will never go wrong eating here.

Hidden surprise of a noodle shop, which in my personal opinion, is actually better than the pau (buns) themselves! Whilst I agree that the pau is pretty nice, the purpose of the visit was to try the noodles instead. We tried two bowls of 面粉粿 (mee hoon kway) and 可口面 (Koka noodles), both of which are using the same soup stock but a slight variation to the noodle base used. The mee hoon kway was just nice, small bite sized pieces with that dough-like texture that made it chewy with each slurp. It's a simple dish, but it is the kway that makes all the difference in this dish. Portion size is a little small, but it allows you the opportunity to complement this with some dim sum offerings from Nam Kee (i.e. buying a pau or some siew mai to go along as a side).

Not very friendly at the cashier but big pau was extremely nice for my taste.

The bun - in Chinese we called Pau 包, is filled with generous meat. If order a big Pau 4 the size is my palm size or it is a combine of two medium Pau size. Big Pau filled with mixed chicken and pork, meat 98% vegetables only 2%, you cannot even taste the veggie. I am more on veggies so not really a fan of this extreme potion of meat. I feel boring eating it. The glutinous rice as shown in photo - dark in colour, is quite sweet but for me I prefer less sweet. They sell other food too, chairs, tables and shop layout was decorated as if we were back in the 80s. for the famous big Pau.
