Average stay at low budget. Old building. 20 mins from GTB metro. If you're looking for some cheap in nearby areas such as Vijay Nagar, GTB, Rajpura, Kamala Nagar, Delhi University, you should consider this is an option. Lots of good options for fooding nearby the hostel. Delhi is known for street foods, you will get them here too. Home foods also available. You can get a mess too. Food is cheap. This is primarily a student area so you will see a lot of them, also you can see a lot of North Eastern guys.
