Sludge Pump

Took my amp in to get them to attempt fixing the constant crackle and occasional blast of unwanted sound. The amp was there for months. Eventually they called me to tell me it was ready. They cleaned the inside and said there appeared to be no problem other than that. In fact, they had been ipping on it all afternoon\ with no problems. They charged me an outrageous 180 for the cleaning. I took it home and plugged in my new cord to find all problems were back within two minutes of playing. I'll never be back. I'd rather travel to the south end of Nanaimo, or make a trip to Victoria. I don't trust these guys at all.

Richard and staff hold and share a wealth of knowledge and experience. Richard has always amazed me with his kindness and knowledge. This is a must go to place for all local and traveling musicians and we are so lucky to have them right here in Nanaimo. Richard set my guitar up and it has never played better..thank you.

Amazing shop. Great deals on new equipment, and 100% the main shop to go to for the most high end vintage gear. (If it's good enough for Elvis Costello and Geddy Lee, it's good enough for you.) The only shop to go to on the island for repairs. Richard is amazing, as is Kaj. Play your version of blackbird when in the store to see Kaj make funny faces. It's his music store version of stairway. Someday, I'd like to hear that a group of folks all went in to play blackbird all at once for him. The Great teachers of all forms of music are upstairs.
