Friendly for sure. The owner is very friendly. The one employee with the reddish, blonde hair who has been there many years is probably the most friendliest barista I've encountered anywhere. Always has an exceptionally great attitude despite working in a coffee shop where there can be many aweful customers. I like the cappuccinos, and the baking is pretty good too.

Man alive, this is about the best coffee place in the north end- maybe even Nanaimo. The staff are friendly, kind, and really care about the experience of the customer. I get lattes here regularly because they really make it worth the money. When I got a bitter latte from someone who I think is newer to the store not only was I made a new one, but I received a bogo deal for my next latte. The staff really make sure that my experience at Blenz is consistently awesome and that I come away happy every time :) they definitely deserve recognition for their hard work, friendliness, and skill.
Fast service and delicious coffee. Friendly too.
Professional and courteous service. Huge selection of delicious specialty food and coffee. The owner's wife is a proper baker and brings in fab and novel treats to buy. And all at reasonable prices you'd expect to pay. Not bargain basement cheap, but reasonable for such a place.
