edit 4 months later: I usually love it here, great selection and great prices, but today both the member on staff & a customer had their masks around their chins and were standing near the albums I wanted to look at. customer was looking at me like I was the one who was the problem & he even coughed at some point??? i had to leave without looking at everything I wanted to see & didn't buy anything because I felt unsafe. I know that employees can't be held responsible for customers actions but like I said, employee on shift wasn't wearing a mask & was also in conversation with the customer.

Neat place. Good mix of used and new. The only minus is that the pop section is on book shelves and hard to look through.
Was able to get 4 brand new records including 2 double gates for 115, and he threw in a reusable bag and some of their poster cards! They're very knowledgeable and can order anything, and more likely than not will have something for you in vinyl or CDs. Great longstanding local business!
I liked it as I stepped in and paused just looking, seeing some old stuff; it felt good. I saw so much DVDs, CDs, and such it was almost crowded to look at. I walked around a little then then I was greeted casually. He was great help in finding what i wanted. He a good man.. thank you
Lots of inventory. Great place!
If I could give more than five stars, I would. They sell endless selection of used CDs that are good as new at ridiculously cheap prices. Plus, DVDs, blue rays of TV Series or Films you're not finding through interent apps like Netflix and Crave, et cetera. This small business has been in downtown Nanaimo since before the time of dinosaurs. Wish I would have walked in there sooner.
I hope this place never goes out of business. It's the old decent record store in Nanaimo.
Legit one of my fave independent stores in Canada!!! I know as I've worked for a few like Recordland in Cowtown. It's also a diggers dream. All formats, all genres. Great place.
