I was very pleased with the service representatives at this location. very helpful and provided great service. they where able to fill my prescription in a timely manner and all at a good price. Very please to see that Covid measures are being observed. Keep up the great work!

This is the best place for lens and glasses in Nanaimo! I went there yesterday and Monique helped me patiently and answered all my questions, advised as and what can be best. Today Amelia spent 1hour time to elaborate various kind of lenses, extra features etc. and finally I was able to choose a frame and lens type!! The store was doing 50%off on designer fram and lenses too! Loved the experience!

If I could give less than one star to this store, then I would in a heartbeat. Their prices are outrageous, and not just compared to US retailers, but in comparison to any other stores in the Nanaimo area. The saleslady at LensCrafters put through a charge for the glasses that I had selected, to my extended medical insurance, without my authorization. All I wanted was a quote. When she told me what she'd done, I immediately asked her to reverse the charge and I stormed out of there. I then went over to Walmart and got a way better deal.

Issue - Bought one of their most expensive glasses. Poor quality. Replaced twice but still defective. First had scratch on their scratch proof glass and second has coating issues which creates webs during night time. Very frustrating. Would never recommend. Please do some research at other stores in mall and save your money/ problems later. _______________________________________________________________________ Resolution - Was contacted by the store manager after above review who took time to understand the issue. Finally, as a resolution she decided to replace the lenses and refunded 100 as a compensation. Appreciate this nice gesture of customer satisfaction and rectifying their mistakes, but had to explain multiple times the same problem despite explaining everything in first conversation and coming to an agreement. Giving 4 stars because of overall experience, wasted time, hassle and inconvenience.

We went to Lenscrafters to purchase my daughter her first pair of glasses. We picked out an overpriced frame, however the lenses and frames for people under 20yrs old were offered a discount of 50% which made the purchase a little more affordable. Upon checkout the “certified” tech assisted in the checkout process. I had requested that there are to be absolutely no add-ons ( such as scratch resistant or anti glare) to the lenses. None at all, I was very clear on that. So when I was shown my receipt she immediately directed me towards the total price was was slightly Over 600, she then directed me to the amazing deal of 50% off. Yes that’s great50% off. BUT SHE DID NOT discuss the break down of cost. She didn’t because she automatically added on an extra 130 for an “enhanced scratch resistant” lens. I was so shocked that she had the nerve to try and sneak in an extra 130 to my purchase. I’m so disappointed. I do not recommend this store at all. Take your business elsewhere people. Don’t get ripped off here.
