Nice trails. Currently (March 2021) the structure of the old mine is under construction, which is too bad. Lots of neat things to see, but wish there were more info about what the old broken down structures are.

really nice short easy trail no elevation all part of the nanaimo.river floodplain trail starts out at a historic morden mines ....i think the colliery is what they call the concrete structure that used to lower and raise men and equippment history lessen and a beitiful stroll

A unique step back in time to see Vancouver Islands last remaining coal mine standing structure. The historic park is set in a nice forest setting where you are able to witness nature take back this once booming industrial location. Nature trails circle the park and also a large trail system trailhead is located here. A nice way to spend a Saturday or Sunday
