Overall really happy with this gym!! My only complaint is the colour scheme - that purple and yellow has got to go, they should rebrand with more fresh and energising color scheme - the darkness is oppressive, especially at night in a big facility where there are only a few windows on one side

Great location in North Nanaimo. Lots of equipment. Aqua massage beds, Total body, massage chairs, and Tanning bed. The price is affordable too.
Good clean Gym. Not too stressful as i can always get on equipment. Weights don't go over 80 pounds but not a big deal. Staff always cleaning and seem happy.
My workouts at Planet Fitness have been above standard. At other gyms in the past, I've sort of wandered around, not sure how to get the most out of my time working out. Also, having around 15 different t.v. screens to watch while doing Cardio on the Elliptical or bikes helps the hour go by, helps one burn more calories. And there is a whole room just for abdominal work. Wow! My favorite gym by far. Highly recommended
The place is always neat clean and the staff is always friendly, the only thing that's missing in it is that they have only smith machines with no free bars, and some machines are limited like the pec and delt fly machine
