I had the pleasure of being referred to Dr. Sonia, I heard great things about her and was not disappointed. Her office is beautiful and most of the staff were so friendly and put me at ease. My lower rating is for the welcome I received when I arrived and the follow up phone call trying to find out what my insurance would pay. The lady at the front desk did not acknowledge me when I arrived until I walked to her desk and told her who I was and even then I felt unwelcome. After my appointment I called to have some questions answered about my insurance and was met with the same indifference as when I arrived. I wouldn't normally write a review like this but I was sent a link offering to write my opinion, which is a great idea to get honest feedback.

I was a little anxious at my first visit but Dr. Sonia and the other ladies were so kind and friendly, I was quickly at ease. I appreciated how everything was explained and written down for me. Beautiful building too!

Have been here a few times now, the staff are amazing, very friendly and welcoming, put you at ease right away. They explained in detail why and what they were going to do before proceeding. VIDS was my 3rd stop at a Periodontist specialist due to the other two being useless. VIDS is excellent! Dr. Sonia Leziy's suggested approach for my issue was first class. Felt comfortable, safe and along with her team, made one feel you are in good hands. The office is excellent regarding COVID protocols and practices. Dr. Lezy's has spent significant dollars to ensure patients and her staff are protected to the fullest extend. I highly recommend VIDS to anyone requiring specialist dental services.

Dr Leziy was excellent explained what she was doing why she was doing it and at the end of the examination gave me a summary of everything including a plan. Never had that before imagine a plan that we had discussed and agreed to. Staff was also excellent and the surroundings outstanding.

I have never felt so cared for and calm at a perio clinic. Sonia and the rest of her amazing staff, treated me without judgment and created a plan that would be cheap (er) and with a quick exit back to the care of my dentist (under plan). I highly recommend her to everyone needing perio care, especially those highly anxious. They have a plan for that too :) plus they filed all my coverage papers!! Many thanks and appreciation

I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Dr. Leziy and her staff over that last couple of months. It had been several years that I had thought about getting a connective tissue graft. I'm almost grateful I waited just so I could be put into Vancouver Island Dental Specialist's care. All my questions were answered, from costs right down to the how's and why's. Dr. Leziy is competent, professional and treats people as the the beautiful people they are. And my gums look great to boot! I highly recommend their services.
