This walk is very beautiful but I won’t lie it’s pretty long. I don’t think we realized how long the loop was until we were 3/4 done. Best views are facing towards the mountain the other side is majority forest! If you wanted to skip the hike just walk along the parking lot side and turn back instead of doing the entire 6k! Overall gorgeous though!

One of my favorite parks in the city, beautiful in every season, a bit too busy during summer as it has a limited space as \beach\ but it's a very nice park with a long trail if you enjoy an want to go through it.
Wonderful lakeside trail all way around! Very peaceful and pleasant. Public washrooms at the start were open and appreciated. Easy free parking.
A magical place to go for a 6 km walk, bike ride or run. Lots of people dipping into the chilly water! Mostly flat, except one hill at the end (if you're going counter clockwise).
Great 6 km hike at this lovely lake. Well marked trails, off shoots for bikes or further exploring. Took us about 2 hours, we stopped for pics quite often. Really enjoyable, highly recommend
