The beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. I am in love with this place. The vast water body where we can see the merge of river Tungabadra and river Krishna. Watching the submerged temple top during sunrise and sunset will put one into a trance state. Very refreshing ! A good photo shoot place. Note: mind the slippery steps under water.

This temple is built at the confluence of seven rivers. Since it is located to backwaters of Srisailam Dam, the temple will be open only for 3-4 months (April to 2nd week of July). It takes nearly 100 workers to clean the temple after the water has gone from temple. Basically after Ugadi festival they start doing pooja’s on every Monday. Its 90kms from kurnool. If u came by bike u can take bikes in boat to other side of the river and can easily reach to Hyderabad via nagarkurnool

One must visit this place in life time. Temple is submerged in water on rainy season, visible only on summer (depends on weather).
