A beautiful home in a great location where staff are passionate about the care they provide for their residents. The residents are treated like their own families. Staff also help each other out and take pride in what they do.

I have just been to visit with the desire to check it’s suitability for my parents. On the surface it looks like a lovely place in a great location. But witnessing one of the female residents shouting for help to go to the toilet whilst all the staff were in a meeting, only to find her still there 15 minutes later after I had been shown round ... still shouting for help. I went into the meeting and told them , there response was we are having a meeting - my response was well I won’t be looking to put my parents here if this is the base level of care.... disgusting attitude and behaviour to a basic care need. I am fuming and will be taking this further CPC and the patent company will be both be receiving a mail tonight.

The home is well equipped and the manager is a nurse, doing his best to ensure that necessary standard of care is maintained in the home.

I am an employee at church house and totally dis agree with the review from nikki benson which is a personal opinion the residents are well cared for by the staff and the new manager is doing a fantastic job all the staff appriciate his hard work and dedication as for having no pads soap and bowls agency staff only have to ask and they will be shown were they are kept

Having worked there on an regular basis for an agency, I found the home to be regularly under equipped with the bare necessities, such as pads and soap and in many cases I had to go hunting for a bowl to be able to wash residents. Residentsxwere all too often found wet and in need of being changed. Regular staff did their best, but the home frequently ran out of incontinence pads. Very badly managed home, and they sacked the manager and brought another one incwho was worse than the previous one. Little wonder it says this hone requires improvements,on the front door after a recent cqc inspection. I and several of my colleagues refused to work there.
