A superb example of modern history preserved. Great information and learning about nuclear weaponry and defence systems and infostructure. Very interesting site. This is the second one I have visited this year. Hope to post new visits next year.

Time was a bit short which was or fault but the place is definitely interesting and worth coming back to. As expected prepare yourself for access via small roads - it was supposed to be secretive and hidden. Passing through 27 rooms you get a good feeling of what the intend of Hack Green was and also appreciate the fact that we don't need it any longer. Nice hunt for spy mice for children with a very good and informative booklet.
Plenty of signs to the 'secret bunker' which was great as it's in the middle of nowhere. Parking available. Step ramp or steps up to the main entrance but if you ask at the entrance staff will help you by opening the ground level door. Interesting place to visit and a good reminder of cold war and arms race. Coffee shop just inside entrance.
The bunker is a truly fascinating place far bigger than you would expect. There's lots of interesting artifacts on display and exciting rooms to explore. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, so don't forget to ask questions! If you really want to experience the bunker I highly recommend the Soviet Threat weekends. The site is populated with reenactors who are experts on the Coldwar and they provide a whole new dimension to the experience, plus there's normally some extra vehicles on display outside.
I'm a Cold War enthusiast, if that's the right term to use, and seeing Hack Green really helps bring home the reality of Cold War Britain. The staff are lovely and the exhibits are amazing.
Excellent place to visit, interesting and atmospheric.
An absolutely wonderful experience. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and the walk around was the perfect length, with around 27 exhibitions in total. Great work has gone into preserving the historical accuracy of the place, and the signs and posters do a great job at explaining the various exhibits and displays.
Fascinating to see what things were like in the very recent past. Would have been good to have a bit more of an explanation of the background - when was it built? Why was it decommissioned? But a very interesting visit.
