Very organised system to allow customers to shop easily during the pandemic. Plenty of staff on the shop floor to assist. Queues at the checkouts were small and the Smartshop checkout was quick.

No crowd control, social distancing measures not in place, store very crowded, felt very vulnerable staff in groups stacking shelves. The first lock down last March was a lot more controlled, Sainsburys have obviously became very complacent about covid.
Crazy covid rules. Queues inside at the tills because staff were outside policing the 100metre queue going aroundthe car park. In the cold and rain. Wouldn't let us both in although we explained my wife was doing the grocery shopping and I was collecting from Argos. So we had to go in separately. He kept me outside for another 2 minutes.
Standard supermarket. Some good prices and offers. Unfortunately lots of staff wearing masks not wearing them properly. Face masks designed to cover the full mouth and nose not being worn correctly by many people. Many even hanging below their chins!
I love sainsbury's but it can get quite a few people in that don't keep there distance and it's hard as my husband is very high risk so feel quite nervous
