Great place, turned up because another pub was closed, they had a table straight away. People there and a nice ambiance, the food was not cheap but not very expensive, but it was great. Great customer service, food was piping hot and tasted great. partner said he will be back

I was trying to decide what to have for tea on Sunday and then remembered how lovely the roast dinners are from The Talbot. I called at 4:15pm and was delighted when they said they could fit me in for a delivery at 5:45pm. The staff are so helpful and friendly, they're always so cheerful when they answer the phone. The food arrived on time and was lovely, there was plenty of lamb, boiled potatoes and roast potatoes, and the veg was absolutely delicious, carrots, green beans and broccoli. All finished off with lashings of gravy and an enormous crispy Yorkshire!!

One of the best burgers I have ever had, the texan was amazing, perfect cooked burgers and the chilli was to die for, will definitely be having another on next time I'm out for a meal

Most meals I have had here have been rather nice and enjoyable. However, last Sunday the beef roast wasn't as enjoyable. The vegetables were nice and the Yorkshire pudding was delicious however the beef seemed to be reheated sandwich beef rather than Beef from a joint. Hasn't entirely put me off eating here since most of the other meals were top notch but it has put me off ordering the beef. Next time I will swerve it and go for the half roast chicken.
