Wow! Absolutely loved our evening with friends. Staff were fantastic, food we couldn’t fault, drinks were amazing. As it was our first outing out of lockdown, we treated ourselves to champagne, which was lovely, the ice bucket came to the table with fog flowing out of it, really added to the drama. I had the Venison which was one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. Will definitely be returning again. The outdoor area was lovely, just what the town needs, such a nice environment. Well done The Townhouse, you’ve hit the spot!

Delicious food, post lockdown opening night 17th May 21 and stunned how these guys are back in full flow serving great food accompanied by great service from Poppy and Becky, will be back soon.
Finally made it to the Townhouse for dinner and it was amazing. Rebecca and Emma gave us great service. The food was top quality and delicious, especially the venison, pork belly and lamb rump. Loved the zombie cocktail, flaming passionfruit was a cute touch. Will definitely be back. If you are looking for a quality dining experience in Nantwich this is the place for you.

Quite tasty food but overpriced. Pretty poor menu choices (very few veggie / vegan options). Could do without the loud thump-thump noise (“music”). Staff lovely - polite, fun, attentive.
Visited the townhouse yesterday with 3 friends all of whom are residents of Nantwich, me and a friend ordered the gnocchi and when it arrived it was just canned tomato on top with no seasoning in and a couple peas and beans mixed in. We had a few bites and then sent it back, we did get an apology which I appreciated but I was not offered anything else and when the bill arrived it was left on the bill. In general the service was poor, before even being welcomed or asked for our reservation we were told to show our IDs (which were examined front and back for an uncomfortably long amount of time, I understand why this happens of course but a “hello welcome to the townhouse” first would’ve been appreciated). In general, only one of us enjoyed the meal (the only one who ordered a non-vegetarian dish) and, though the gnocchi was taken off the bill after we complained a second time, the service overall was not to standard and I won’t be recommending this place to people I know.
Previously called residence and now the townhouse, glad to see they moved the bar back into the main area on the left when you walk in. The back room now though suffers from acoustic problems. You have to shout to talk to the people on your table and the problem is the same with everyone else in the room. So what happens is you have to shout to be heard and you can hardly hear the people your talking too even on the same table! We called on MONDAY to book a table for for dinner for 4 on Friday and it was already FULLY booked. So we just booked a table for drinks, and had a couple of drinks before we left to another restaurant. The drinks were great and the waitress was excellent, fast service and super cocktails! Good selection of Italian beers. Good parking at the front. Nice, Small courtyard at side for outside drinks and smokers.
