Dr. Jason Fond is the best doctor! I had to have a biceps tenodesis surgery and I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Fond perform this surgery at the Mahwah Surgical Center in New Jersey. Prior to the surgery, Dr. Fond took time to explain, in detail, the surgery and the post treatment. Dr. Fond is knowledgeable, detailed oriented, kind and most importantly empathetic. Dr. Fond always greeted me with a smile and was attentive to my every need. After the surgery, his staff called me to find out how I was feeling and even made me a follow up appointment. Because of his paramount professionalism and positive attitude, I am recommending Dr. Fond to all of my friends and family and would like to thank him and his staff for providing me the best health care available.

Big location, lots of space, big waiting room. Staff could be a little more friendly. Waited about 30 minutes for the doctor and when he got there he spend less than 3 minutes with us, barely looked at the patient. Even if it is something simple I believe you want a doctor to take more time and look at all factors. I have to go back in two weeks. We will see then. While waiting for the next appointment I found another orthopedic and went there, the contrast on service what amazing and can not be compare. Do not recommend this location

We literally waited an entire hour after we were asked to come early for our appointment. When we asked about the delay we were told that our appointment is not for another 30 minutes and there other patients ahead of us. They were polite and apologetic but incompetence with a smile did not placate the aggravating experience.

My husband recently had rotator cuff surgery performed by Dr. Popowicz. From his 1st consultation appointment, pre-op scheduling, and the actual surgery the staff at Mahwah surgical center ( special thanks to his recovery room nurse who is says was amazing- and I agree. She called me and updated me often and was very clear with post-op instructions) and at every post-op visit, all people involved were extremely professional and understanding. Special thanks to the PA for her understanding and support at that 1st post-op visit and subsequent visits. This is a painful procedure and all involved have been and continue me to be supportive . Sorry for not mentioning names, but he does not recall all of them. Please know everyone’s efforts are greatly appreciated by him and me. Please note that appointments are honored, and appointments are efficient, while allowing for questions and concerns to be addressed. Thanks everyone!
