Good for kids
I grew up in Naperville when it was just a sleepy little community. Back in the day (late 50s, 60s) the Cow Tunnel, (so named for livestock that moved through there when the area was all farms) was a convenient bicycle shortcut to downtown Naperville under the railroad tracks at Webster Street. Because the tracks are elevated in that area, it was easier and shorter to go thru the tunnel than ride down to the Washington or Mill Street underpasses. The tunnel walls were constructed of concrete and stone blocks and it was always dark, damp and muddy. You had to duck your head most of the way but it was always a blast to ride through there. As kids we never gave safety a thought... but the tunnel was eventually closed for that reason.

Nice historical landmark. This is in the middle of Naperville. I would lime to learn more about it but I am having a hard time finding additional information.
There no specific tunnel as such. It's beautiful historical residential area with track going by the side of a pond and a small tunnel which is now closed.
