First of, you should all know that the 'ONLY OTHER CONTRIBUTOR' to date (Ray Fletcher) is currently a sales person at this firm. Go figure!! I live in London and Stockholm and returned to Napier to sell my beautiful executive home. I vetted 3 agencies. Tremain (whom I later dismissed because the Principal wouldn't take responsibility for his rental depts mismanagement of my home although , sadly, I thought the Agent was outstanding)!. Harcourts, whose agents were admirable but for the limited marketing packages, thus, bringing me to Ray White, Dickens Street! As 'Murphy's Law' would have it, I found out latterly how bad this agency is. ALL of my Napier based friends universally said... "Why them? They're lazy... they're thieves..." In hindsight, perhaps I had just been run down by the earlier disappointments and went for this crowd. Big mistake!! The agent ended up being a pathological liar and drama queen and the owner (Eleanor Mac or McDonald - I'm not sure as I had never made her acquaintance) a psychopathic bully who rang me on two occasions verbally abusing me! And yes, I did make a complaint to the REAA. So, be warned! When even the locals who AREN'T selling, know how bad this company is... steer clear. Yes, my house sold but not without unnecessary stress and drama caused by the agent and the owner of the company and NO, it wasn't the best outcome. The agents' game playing put a lot of prospective buyers off and the people who eventually bought my house had come to my house to personally air their frustration with the agents' game playing. Save yourself the angst and go for Harcourts and tell them to be more flexible with their marketing! Ask for Mike and Emerald!!
