Great view. Challenging climb from the Spanish Quarter but doable.

We discovered this stairway by a happy accident as we figured out a way down from Castel Sant’Elmo. The trek was worth it because it’s such a great conversation topic. It’s not maintained though so you’ll see plenty of graffiti, broken glass, rubbish here and there; but overall worth your while. It’s been around since 1325!
Worth to come and walk downhill, a fantastic view in local neighbourhood
Take at your own risk: Covered in broken glass, no shade, and the views weren’t amazing until the top. Not exaggerating about the broken glass, it littered the whole stairway for about 3/4 of the way, and was capable of piercing leather loafers and sandals. Take the funicular or the stairs that begin in Chiara (we took those stairs on the way down and it was much better in every way).
The view from the top is magnificent. You can buy some ice cream or coffee and just enjoy the landscape and architecture of the city below. Good place to go by a motorcycle where you can park it for a while and enjoy area nearby.
20 minutes walk down from Castel St. Elmo with a beautiful sight of the city
這地方不用門票,只是海灣部分會被遮住,但看火山和拿坡里還是很美。
A nap végén jutottunk fel, de a város esti fényei sem csúnyák.
