Little gem. Great meals with several options and dietary requirements catered for. I had lamb shanks as pictured, tasty red wine sauce meat falling off the bone. Excellent friendly and generous country service with a “nothings to much trouble” attitude. Would happily return to try some of the other meals.

Unexpectedly delicious! We had leak soup, pumpkin salad, fish for mains and pannacotta for dessert. Unexpectedly because we were just passing by on our way to Adelaide and just randomly stopped for dinner. Delicious - regardless of "unexpectedly", really delicious, thank you!
Over priced. Quality of service isn't really there to be honest it isn't there for the good either. Although the Steak itself was pretty decent. Overall though not a great dining experience.

Delicious food and fantastic friendly attentive service. Our steak was perfectly cooked, and the Indonesian beef curry was authentic! Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Dishes were generous and delicious. It was recommended by staff to try the chef's authentic Indonesian dishes so I got the curry special. I can easily say that the beef rendang was one of the tastiest curries I've had. Each morsel of beef was a flavour bomb. My husband's chicken dish (almost like a kiev) was very enjoyable also. The roast garlic oil with toasted bread which we had to start with was delightful too. Service by Alana was great & we enjoyed the food & wine suggestions. I would definitely recommend The Highlander in Naracoorte and will come back again.
The lamb shank was excellent and very tasty. The potato mash matched it perfectly. The chicken dish was very tender and moist. The mushroom sauce was an excellent accompaniment. Garry 06/11/2020
