The service, practice and knowledge of property law, commercial leasing and all types of conveyancing at CMC is exceptional and of the highest standards. My comparison & comments are based off 28 years of property transactions and dealings with dozens of other property law practices including the more expensive city corporate and multinationals. The CMC property team have continuously outperformed all others for several years now. The right choice of who represents you most often can mean the difference between a very poor, costly & disastrous outcome vs a great outcome with long term rewards and benefits. A wonderful team who are professional and compassionate. A trusted brand in the community and all of my dealings with them have been great. Would definitely recommend.
Was my matter addressed? Yes, eventually. Was it dealt with in what I'd consider a professional and courteous manner? No. Was I communicated with regularly about the progress of the issue? Only after constant chasing! Did I receive regular invoices showing me what costs were being racked up as promised? Not one! Was the final bill a complete surprise? Absolutely, especially considering it was a straightforward matter in which all the work had been done before it was brought to them. So no, I don't recommend you use this firm. Typical law 'business' - all talk, no action (until prompted), no interest in their clients whatsoever.
Jillaine Duve was my lawyer for family matter, she is a wonderful person with a kind heart. She is not only professionally excellent about her work but She listened and tried to comfort me when my world was upside down she made me feel like I do matter. Her compassion about her work and valuing her client is a great. I was referred to her by a family friend, through my court case I could totally see that she is deserving of the work she does. I wholeheartedly appreciate her support/work and showing me the right direction when i needed it.
