I recently switched banks to St George, including my mortgages, home contents, savings etc. I had the pleasure of dealing with Linda the Senior Lending Manager. If only i could give 10 stars, i could not recommend Linda and the team at St George more. Linda was extremely helpful, confident, knowledgeable and accommodating from start to finish !!! Thank you again !!

Just went into the Narellan St George branch to speak with the Lending Specialist. She initially told me she was too busy to speak to me now which was understandable as I didn't have an appointment. Then after explaining what I will need to bring to the appointment and I updated her on some information she said that she cannot help me At All!! . Offered no options not even a possible date of which to come back to re-assess. Just handed back my cards and open the office door. It made me feel awkward and uncomfortable. Even though I told her CBA were willing to do it she said "if they can, go right ahead". Actually wanting to move my accounts over to a rival bank. It was just pure laziness!! If you want to speak to a lending specialist don't go there. I would try another St George branch or another bank entirely. UPDATE Faith restored from the branch manager :)

It's Easter Saturday, it states online the branch is open today 9:30am-2:00pm. People lining up and it's not open!! Not even the courtesy of a sign, we don't all have the luxury of bank hours so when you finally have a weekend to go in there's no one there!

I went into the Narellan branch with the intension to deposit a decent amount of cash when I was rejected by the teller who was doing absolutely nothing to tell me that cash is not accepted at the desk on Saturday, so I had to use the after hour atm deposit machine. I was happy to do so even knowing the fact that the machine only accepts 40 notes at a time. It got to a point where I was under pressure from the large line building up behind me due to the fact that there is only one deposit machine. I was hearing whispers, huffing and puffing because the people behind me were getting fustrated. Being the courteous person I am, I stopped midway to allow people in the queue to go infront of me, keeping in mind that the whole time this was happening the branch employees were just watching, sitting around, having a good old chat. I had to stop 3 times and in the end I didnt even get to finish depositing because I was so angry! The fact that you hire staff on a Saturday and pay them probably time and half to sit around and do nothing blows my mind! In a situation like mine, there should be some sort of common courtesy by your staff to provide some assistance to their loyal long standing customers in a overwhelming situation, instead of making us feel embarrassed and insignificant. Last I checked you thrive on your slogan "Ready, Set, Start Something" well let me tell you, I am "Ready, Set and LEAVING" Management needs to take a good look at how things are being managed because from what I experienced, customer care is right out the door! Because of this, I am absolutely disgusted and will be cancelling my accounts and moving to... which bank... The Commonwealth Bank!!

Wow what an experience took 3 people to bank money in my account and still waiting for the interest rate to be done as I was told it was going to be done on the day they were more interested gossiping then serving think it is time for a new bank not happy with there service plenty of others that offer more
