I enjoyed my stay here for two nights. The place offers budget accommodation and their food and services are OK. The place is also close to the park.

Despite the price, they do not offer the basic amenities like light after 10, basic charging facilities in room and warm water. They offer you tents with two single beds and attached open bathroom and toilet. No tissue paper or water in the toilet. The food they offer don't have variety and you cant choose from menu. The general cleanliness in the camp is not upto the mark.

Well, the place is just okay. My friends and I got a tent and it's decent. The bathroom could be cleaner and the shower could be hotter but oh well..... The staff are friendly and super helpful! In the tent, there's only one electrical outlet so it's best to bring an extension. Electricity doesn't run the whole night, so you need to strategize on using it. Food is great!

Satisfactory quality This site offers tented camp with own shower (hot) and bathrooms. Its not the best quality but can survive a few days. Self service restaurant offers buffet food and breakfast ( average) and charging port for electronics. The power runs from 6:30 pm till 10 and 5:30 am till 7. Tap water is not drinkable. We had water supply issues the first night but rectified and toilet flush is not that strong. Can hear animals, dogs, hyenas at night before falling sleep. There is a guard walking around the site with a sword to protect against animals in case they enter the campsite. There is a small bar where you can buy beer (2.5 usd) and coke. They accept usd and kenya shillings. Its close to masai mara reserve entrance which is handy when going for game drives. There is a close by Masai village with a warrior always standing in the camp car park area to take to the village for a visit on a 10 entry per person. No wifi available here so maybe buy a 10 sim card from Nairobi on the way in. The road from Narok to this campsite is under refurbishment and the alternative passage is very rough and bumpy. Be prepared for 2 hours of crazy driving and roller coster with lots of dust and noise.

Very basic camp, so if u don't search for luxury - this is a way to go. I guess it goes by "default" for some budget safari tours (if u buy expensive tour - u stay in better camps). Anyway, u almost don't spend time within a camp cause u go for the game drives and come back late in the evening. It's very green (looks like European fruit garden to me), lots of small birds and geckos, u can also spot a wolf-spider (if u are lucky))) wandering at night. Tents have 2-3 beds in it equipped with mosquito nets, shower and wc attached to each tent, very primitive, but u'll be glad it's there. Sometimes at night u can hear some animals roaring in savannah. There is a kitchen in a camp, there u can also buy beer, water, cola. Food catered by local chief is tasty but don't expect something "extra", it's Africa. There is a Masai village by the camp, but I guess those Masai are "plastic" ones - not a genuine ancient tribe, but a modernized touristic attraction. Still interesting to see. It will cost u 10 to enter the maniyata (their village). Don't buy "lion teeth" souvenirs from them - it's a fake made of a cow bone, but not a real lion tooth (which is almost impossible to find&buy). Masai will try to get some more money from you, offering their souvenirs after inviting u inside the hut. It's up to you to buy or not to buy (though they are VERY persistent))). Miti Mingi Eco Camp lays within 5-minutes drive from the entrance to Masai-Mara National Reserve, very handy. I spent 3 days and 2 nights there and never regretted. Overall 4/5.
