What an incredible place. Storm runs the camp impeccably, the wildlife is unrivaled, and the staff are incredibly nice. The food is awesome too! Stay at least 2 nights

Absolutely the best! In Sala’s Camp everything was perfect. The rooms and facilities are beautiful and luxuous. The staff is super friendly and always want to help. Even the animals contributed to an unforgetting experience. I highly recommend The Safari Collection.

Fantastic trip. Staff exceptionally accommodating. Guides amazing. Food top notch...see menu picture below...these are my personal pictures from my cell phone. We were lucky to witness 2 lionesses dig out a warthog...they were completely covered by the high grass but experienced guides noted strange giraffe behavior and knew a predator must be close. Would not have witnessed without our guides multiple years of experience. This trip surpassed previous safaris to Zambia and Tanzania. Thank you.

We had the massive family suite .spacious and gracious with warm hearted hospitality and outstanding food .the game was world class and in our short stay we managed an impressive list of new species.

The common areas are nicely done with floor to ceiling glass doors that can be open or closed, weather and wildlife permitting. The menu choice is limited with a fixed menu for lunch and dinner. The lunch served for the table with the portions on the small side. The fixed menu was problematic as if you didn’t like an item, there was nothing to substitute. The quality of the food was excellent and tries to be upscale. Bread was not served at lunch or dinner. The fresh lettuce and vegetables were excellent. The staff is great and service is excellent. A gift shop, gym and spa services are available. Our tent cabin was very large, with floor to ceiling glass doors and a front door. The bathroom has a soaking tub, walk in shower, small clothes area. There was a separate living and sleeping area. The bed was comfortable and had mosquito netting (although there was a large hole in our netting). Our guide, Daniel, is a Maasai and very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. He readily volunteers information. Sala’s Camp also uses a tracker. Our tracker, a Maasai was wonderful and a good photographer. Sala’s Camp does seem to assign more people per vehicle than other luxury camps. If you feel like there are too many people crowded into your safari vehicle, go ahead and raise your concern with management, they are sensitive to your safari experience. Depending on your group and needs, you may want to consider paying additional to have a private car, although that can be expensive.

My husband and I stayed at Sala’s for two nights and had a great time; our room was big, nicely decorated and facing the river; the main restaurant has a beautiful view of Tanzanian mountains. Our guide Moses along with Robert were exceptional and shared so much valuable information. In spite of going during the rainy summer we were able to spot lots of animals.
