Very ordinary taste and quality. I ordered chicken satay. The sauce was runny and could have been anything not especially satay in taste, the only veg added was green beans, the chicken was tender but tasteless. Very disappointing.

NOT HAPPY! This restaurant could have killed my husband. We were staying in Narooma for a quick getaway and decided to get some takeaway Chinese from the Narooma Chinese restaurant. This could have been one of the worst mistakes of our lives. My husband is allergic to peanuts and as we always do when ordering Chinese ALWAYS state NO PEANUTS. When placing the order I told the waitress THREE times make sure there are no peanuts in the food . She replied there are only peanuts in the satay.(turns out this was not the case ) We got back to our room and started eating ( the food tasted ok) my husband tried a piece of the Mongolian lamb and then went to get a drink , by the time he got back he asked me are you sure there are no Peanuts in this because he knows the symptoms from an early stage..He stopped eating and quickly realised yes he had ingested peanuts. Luckily he had only a small piece of meat as any more could have resulted in an anaphylactic episode. Needless to say my husband had a very unpleasant night after that and luckily did not end up in hospital. The next day we contacted the restaurant to ask them and the chef Barry said yes he marinates the meat n satay before he cooks it. How can someone be so ignorant . At least train your staff to know what is in the food . Long story short we asked for a refund because of the circumstances which is a small compensation for what had happened . The waitress asked the owner Barry and he said no.. what a joke! Barry you need to have a good look at how you run your business! We were told there were NO PEANUTS this was not our fault it was the restaurants. So in short if you have any allergies STAY AWAY from this restaurant as their it may not turn out so well for the next person . Ignorance is no excuse!

The rice was not very nice and had microwave vegetables in it, the curry chicken sauce was thick and didn't taste nice at all and the chicken and veg with oyster sauce was OK but had better ...and the 4 spring rolls where OK too not worth 39 dollars won't be going there again , I don't like both the Chinese shops in narooma best Chinese is golden lake batemans bay worth the hr travel :)
