NBX is a great bike shop. I have bought a total of 6 bikes from their Narragansett store over the years. I think the store is laid out very buyer friendly and the staff is always willing to help me. My whole family bikes for leisure and I feel like we are in good hands when we purchase a bike or have it serviced at NBX. They never try to sell me the most expensive bikes but really try to match us with the right bike for what we want to use it for.

What a great store and great staff. When you walk into the store, you can feel how enthusiastic everyone working there is about biking. There is no pressure and they really listen to what your needs are. Kevin, Crysta and Jeff are the best! Thanks with fitting us with some fantastic Trek bikes.
I have had excellent experiences dealing with NBX Bikes. I have purchased two higher-end mountain bikes over the past 18 months, both bikes used personally by the owner, Matt Bodziony, and as demo bikes. I dealt directly with Matt, was able to test the bikes, and did not feel any pressure to purchase. On purchase, he made sure the bikes were serviced, and parts replaced where needed. On the second bike, the NBX head mechanic, Ben, fitted my dropper post at a surprisingly reasonable cost for the task. All around, responsive and responsible, and I recommend them highly.
I just went down to NBX to see the updates they have made to the store, and was impressed was well prepared they are for the season. I know a lot of stores are struggling to get bikes and parts because of COVID... but NBX has frames, forks and all parts in stock (!) to build you a bike. (Example: New Trek Slash frames and complete builds in different sizes.) They were even able to get their hands on a rebuild kit for my old Manitou fork, and Ben Stone will work his magic with the service.) Happy to know my bike will be in good hands, during a challenging season. :-)
We loved the yoga upstairs. Rachel was lovely and provided lots of adjustments as needed. She made everyone feel very welcome. I went with my mother and mother in law, we can't wait to return! It was a great experience!
