I have been visiting Tracey for sunglasses for the last decade, and every experience has been superb. She provides a shopping experience that simply isn’t obtainable online. She will work with you to identify the perfect fit and make sure that you’re paying best possible price. Recently, I came back to Shades to purchase a new pair of glasses as my old pair had been damaged. Instead of taking this opportunity to sell me a new pair of sunglasses, she immediately asked to see my old glasses, identified that the lenses could be replaced under warranty and promptly communicated with Oakley to get my new lenses ordered. She saved me hundreds of dollars. Tracey will go above and beyond and is the epitome of why we should shop local everytime we get the chance!

Stopped in after dinner at CGH. Had a specific mission - replace a pair of clubmaster tortoise shells and a pair of 55mm aviators. Walk in prepared to spend 400 on a couple pairs of glasses. Walked in with two kids (8 and 6) - one child picks up a pair of glasses and looks at it, puts it right down and we hear “ahem, I’m sorry we have to sterilize everything you touch, please don’t let your children touch anything” “ok” I say. I pick up a pair of clubmasters and she says “um, are you planning on buying glasses or just browsing?” I was so flabbergasted by her rudeness I decided to immediately walk out. 8/20 6pm Blonde, rude. Lost a 400 sale. .

Tracey is the best. My partner and I travel to Narraganset with my family every summer and always make sure to pop in and see her. Beyond being incredibly sweet and personable, Tracey has a good eye for what sunglasses are right for your facial features, and her expertise gets you way more bang for your buck than online shopping will. Her prices are fair and she has a wide selection of sunglasses. We highly recommend stopping by her store!
