Absolutely abysmal and appalling police force. Never been pulled over but having 3 cruisers trying to catch people speeding on one street is unnecessary. Posting people's names and reasons for being ticketed is unprofessional and unnecessary. Hopefully the state of NY shuts down this department and replaces it with officers who have class.

Bunch of morons out there to extort money from innocent people in the guise of issuing tickets to them for outrageous reasons. Their modus operandi is to write you a ticket, have you come to the court, announce your name to meet with them privately where the officer that wrote you the speeding ticket will scare you to sign a plea deal in return for lesser punishment as long as you plead guilty. The judge will sign off of that and you get to pay the fine and that’s how the “transaction” is concluded. That’s how they make money by “preying” on the general public. Unfortunately the judge and the mayor are backing the police in this small town to facilitate this unethical trade. Someone please contact the media or NY mayor to stop these corrupt practices of this criminal “mafia”. Response to the comment from owner: People get tickets in other places outside of Village of Nassau as well but they don’t get abused elsewhere by a small town police like Nassau. I’m going to pray to God to do unto you as you have done (unfairly) towards others in both this life and the next.

Let me start off by saying I am a close relative to someone who works under I.A Joseph d amico, I am not here to say names patrol numbers or hope to get an officer introuble but the officer at hand made the right choice not taking it further. I frequently drive through nassau to get to my place of work at different residential homes for people who are disabled. The officer followed me to a gas station then into a store and then to my place of work drove back and forth untill I got into my vehicle to leave the residence and then proceeded to follow me within less than one car length (tailgate). I proceeded to pick up a pizza in the village to take home and he sat outside in his car. When I stepped back into my vehicle he again followed me untill I entered schodack new york. This is a form of harrassment that cannot be tolerated. I now have cameras fitted recording behind my vehicle and the front. If this happens again I will take this a step further with a complaint to the appropriate people.
