We rented tubes for 18 each, to use all day. They also gave us the fast-blowing car battery air pump and even offered to give us a ride to then leave our car in the end location for 70. Totally recommendable!

This review is in conjunction with Regan's comment from a few days ago. To put it simply, you are better off purchasing tubes and jumping off the closest bridge on the Arkansas river. You will have the same amount of information we received from the staff, just without the false confidence. The staff offers tubes as a rental and expect people from out of town to understand that this river should not be floated down. I'm sure the staff is more interested in the rafting and kayaking rentals and expeditions, which they may be great for. Do not expect a typical \float trip\ if you rent tubes. However, if you are down for a dangerous adventure on the AK, you can just buy your own tubes.

We had a great time rafting Browns Canyon with Dvorak Expeditions. They were organized and well trained. The canyon and river were beautiful! I'd highly recommend this company.

We had a horrible experience with them today. We thought we were going on a float, this is NOT a float. There are rapids when you are in Salida, we flipped over, our dog and I almost drowned, we’re both still very traumatized. On top of that we lost our phones, our sunglasses, and our shoes. About 1,000 worth of items which while being unemployed because of the pandemic is not ideal. Jackie, the owner, who we dealt with is not friendly, she’s actually quite rude. When we called her after to explain that not only did we cut our day a few hours early because we had horrible a experience. She made it out that it was our fault and that we should have handled the rapid better. Well if we had known there were going to be big rapids we could have!! We watched other kayaks and floats flip over in this area too so it wasn’t just us! She wasn’t all sympathetic to the trauma we experienced, the items we lost or that we paid for a full day we didn’t even use. I would never recommend anyone ever booking through them.
