I went to NDBC after recommendations from health professionals whom had personally benefited from the expertise of their staff. The original assessment and treatment came after 5 months of intermittent vertigo, nausea and fatigue. Feeling discouraged that these symptoms were permanent, I finally made an appointment. After three visits, the physical therapist was told that she cured me! I realize symptoms may recur however I also realize I can return for further treatment. Knowledge is empowering! Thank you for your help...

I have nothing but good things to say about National Dizzy and Balance Center!! I had taken the Spring 2020 semester off from college due to a concussion and mono. When I had recovered from my mono, it was time for me to take care of my concussion. I was recommended the National Dizzy and Balance Center and I am so glad I did! I went through a variety of tests in which the staff was wonderful at explaining and making sure I was doing okay. After the test I came in twice a week, once for PT and the other for OT, and it changed my life. In PT I was able to overcome not only my symptoms, but I became stronger than ever and learned to like exercising. In OT I learned that my eyes tend to tune out background information completely, even before the concussion. Through OT I have increased my peripheral version tremendously and am seeing life through a new perspective. It was very exciting for me when I learned how to see things in my peripheral vision and I became obsessed with it. I had recovered from my concussion very well through their program, and I was able to go back to my normal life. It has been about 5 months or so since my last appointment. Since then I have started college and finished training my horse- AND I got to ride him on a trail. I am very grateful for all of the staff who were a part in helping me get to where I am now!

I saw two therapists for balance and dizzy issues. I had PT for my balance and OT for eye and dizzy and balance issues related to a TBI from an accident. I have had other therapy in the past but THIS time I had great success working with my therapists. I would highly recommend NDBC!
