Focusing principally on the second world war and battle of the bulge, the museum has tens of thousands of objects including weapons, vehicles and clothing, in remarkably good condition. There are several dioramas recreating scenes from original photographs of military positions. The museum also features personal objects and ephemera from people involved in the combat, plus flags, posters, and propaganda. Entrance is reasonably priced at 5 per adult / 3 per child above the age of ten. Dogs are admitted free of charge. (February 2021). Only the ground floor is fully accessible to wheelchairs and buggies. All displays are in English, French and German. Some Dutch here and there.

This is a pretty nice museum if you're into military stuff. The larger items are displayed like dioramas while rifles, mines and pictures are in display cases. The dioramas are a nice touch, but I must say I think the ratio of StG44 vs K98Ks is rather off; there should be more rifles. But then again, if you have a bunch of Stürmgewehr, you should show 'em. There's a lot of interesting little things here, if you watch closely. There are five different versions of the aforementioned StG on display, there's a PPSh, some Panzerfaust types, a FG42, a real Hetzer and one of those funny rocket-launching 3,7cm PAK thingies. We spent a couple of good hours in here; my son is just about the age that he likes to play soldier and go \pew pew\ at stuff so of course, all this was mightily interesting. And me, being an armchair general, can fulfill my fatherly role by telling the stories. My wife and daughter were sitting on a bench, outside, enjoying the sun. They don't like guns.

Absolutely fantastic. This is by far the best military museum I have ever been to. It is very focused on the local military history and is therefore able to be incredibly detailed. There is plenty to see and read about even for those who are generally less enthusiastic about museum visits so if you have even just a passing curiosity then this is well worth a visit.

I have been to countless WWII museums in Germany and the best war museum I have seen so far is this one in Luxembourg.

A awesome World War 2 museum! It has so many stuff cluttered in it you can look at one little spot for a few minutes! So much information and weapons and anything you could imagine that was militarily used in WW2! There was a part that was under renovation but most of it is still open. Would definitely come back again!
