A fabulous building and amazing collection of items to do with the natural world. Very helpful staff. Dinosaurs a bit of a kiddies theme park and had to pay you get into a couple of exhibitions. Cafes good but inevitably crowded and we went after the main rush. Tribes of young school children in high vis jackets wielding clip boards. We found the access good for a powered chair lifts and loos decent size. Good trip.
The building itself is a attraction apart, from outside look like a church, when you get in you will be welcome by a huge pre historical dinosaur skeleton, the place is incredibly big, so think of have at least 2 hours to visit the entire museum.
A center of scientific excellence in the discovery of taxonomy and biodiversity, this world-famous museum promotes the discovery and enjoyment of the natural world through such exciting exhibits as the Life and Earth Galleries, wildlife garden and geological collections.
We love visiting this museum, so much to see!
